The challenge

Kivo doesn’t sell board games by brand or by box, it sells the plan: a night of laughs, a family afternoon, a strategy duel. Most people don’t know game names, so the store had to help them pick by the feeling they’re after, and the client needed to run it on their own without a developer.

What I built

  • Shopping by mood. Besides the usual catalog, every game belongs to categories like “Risas & Caos”, “Parche y fiesta”, “Mentalidad y estrategia” and “Cooperativos”, shown as photo cards right on the home page.
  • A home page that sells the experience. Lifestyle photography, this week’s top games, a curated selection and reviews from real tables, before any long product list.
  • Product pages that explain the game. A gallery of the box and its pieces, the rules in plain words, and players and ages at a glance.
  • Content that brings people back. A blog with game guides and recommendations, linked from the home page.
  • Built for the client to own. WooCommerce for products, stock and checkout, and Elementor templates so the team can update pages and promotions without touching code.
